HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS?
If you need regular treatment your doctor may authorise the issue of repeat prescriptions. When you receive your prescription you will also receive a tear-off portion giving details of your repeat medication. Please bring it with you each time you see the doctor and allow 48 hours’ notice, ie two working days (weekdays only), when requesting a repeat prescription. Please DO NOT leave your request until you have run out of tablets.
Repeat prescriptions may be requested:
1. By post, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope if the prescription is to be returned.
2. Personally at the reception desk.
3. By fax on 020 8640 4013.
In order to avoid mistakes and ensure your safety we do not accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions. (Please use the
tear-off computer slip for your request.)
